Description
The Airman PDS400S-6B1 is a 400 CFM diesel air compressor for rent in Monticello, NY, built for demanding job sites. Its single-stage, oil-cooled rotary screw delivers 400 cfm at 100 psi working pressure, with a 150 psi maximum, enough for multiple pneumatic tools at once.
An Isuzu DD-4BG1-T turbocharged diesel rated at 108.5 hp drives the compressor, and a 43.6 gallon fuel tank cuts down on refueling stops.
The enclosed, sound-attenuated bonnet helps keep noise down on the job site, and the drawbar lets it be towed to where the work is.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to rent a 400 CFM air compressor?
The Airman PDS400S-6B1 rents for $325 per day, $975 per week, or $2,925 per month. Delivery, pickup, and tax are not included and are billed separately.
Is delivery included in the rental price?
No. Delivery and pickup are available but are billed separately from the rental rate, and sales tax applies as well. Call us for a full quote covering your specific job site. You’re also welcome to arrange your own transportation with any reputable third-party towing or trucking service, or haul it yourself if you have a capable vehicle.
What exactly counts as a “day,” “week,” or “month” rental?
Rental periods are based on which days you actually use the equipment, not just total run hours. Using the equipment at all on a given calendar day, even just an hour, counts as one full rental day. A day rental allows up to 8 hours of use. A week rental covers 5 days of use with up to 40 hours total. If you pick it up on a Monday, you have it through the following Monday, but your rental only covers 5 days of actual use. Running it over that weekend counts as additional days and is billed accordingly, even if your total hours are still under 40. A month follows the same logic across roughly 4 weeks, up to 160 hours total. There are no partial-day rentals, and extra usage isn’t prorated. Any additional day, or any portion of one, beyond your allotment is billed as one full additional day at the daily rate.
What jobs is it used for?
Jackhammering, demolition, sandblasting, pneumatic tools, pipeline testing, and general construction.
